Any way to get a discount on Harbor Freight tool boxes?

I need a top box to add to a 56 inch HF rolling chest. Is there a way to buy one on sale, or are you stuck paying MSRP?

I just bought a 72” us general top box on clearance. A few weeks back there was a 30% off ( 40% if inside track club) on clearance items plus another 10% off first HF Credit card purchase. Best part no exceptions and 6 mos interest free. Watch for these sales. Also sometimes they will send out no exception coupons for like 25% off. So my $1099 box became $580 counting inside track club membership plus I bought in Montana so no sales tax. Killer deal.

I think the gen 3 boxes are imminent so they may be trying to clear them out at some point.

You just need to check their coupons and ads to catch a sale. Recently, there was a 10% off all Icon tool storage coupon. There have also been no exclusion coupons recently. Be patient but, be ready to strike when the deal appears.

I bought the hutch for my 56" box this past memorial day using this coupon:



It looks like it has the same exclusions that are listed on the current coupons for Presidents Day weekend. If there's a HF close to you, I'd just try to use the coupon at the register and see what they say.

If you read through the HF coupon thread, there are other who purchased tool storage using coupons with the typical exclusions shown in the attachment. I'm pretty sure that the coupon I used to buy my toolbox in December of 2021 was the same.

If you’re patient, just pay the ITC membership and wait for it. Two or three times a year it pops up. Matter of fact, may not need to join until you see the sale. Last year this time I was waiting on a 24” bottom sale. One came up and I saved quite a bit when I joined the ITC. It expires this Wednesday.

There's a parking lot sale coming March 6-9 for ITC members (early access) and 10-12 for the normies. The flier that HF is handing out shows the 54" at $100 off.
