I have some but I'll have to go out and photo them. When I find them at Flea markets I do my best to aquire them at a small price.

I have some too, but right now I'm in the middle of trying to degrease and de-rust hundreds of wrenches and sockets. Soon I'll sort them all again, and then I can post pix.

These and a couple adjustable wrenches comprise my share of Williams tools.

i have a bunch and i love them too - mostly > 1" sizes. just 'saved' a couple from the father-in-law. he had them in the backhoe and they were getting rust-plated. a dunk in EoR cured that.

no pics since i'm on the road....

These are my only Williams tools. I really like the short double box end wrenches. I wish I could find the rest of the set.

Does anybody have any superratchets to post up and maybe some socket sets. It seems like you see quite a few wrenches but not much for the drive tools.

the williams superwrenches are awesome, but almost impossible to find in metric. I have an old standard combo set at home and they are as good as my snap on set minus the chrome plating, which isnt always good if your hands covered in oil. You can usually pick them up at a decent price at flea markets. If it says "williams" on it you know you are getting a quality tool. I dont have any ratchets but old timers have told me back in the day they were THE ratchet to have. Too bad you can't really order any of their stuff off the snap on trucks anymore.

I don’t run across the ratchets often and the few I have were in bad shape, so far just a black industrial super adjustable.

My B-52 Superratchet. Bought from Rickster if I remember correctly. My only Williams tool so far but that will change, given time. :bounce:

Have a nice day. :)

Most of my larger wrenches at work are Williams Superwrenches, and I think I have a few :) around my home shop. Most of mine came from McMaster Carr back in the 70's. They do not put brand names in their catalog, but if you call or email, you can probably find out if they carry Williams.

Williams stuff was very popular/available in my area I suppose due to the fact that the Buffalo factory was 30 minutes down the road and the numerous local factories they were probably used at. Most of the things from my grandfather. Some of the newer things I have collected.

First picture 1/2 drive stuff, 90 % Williams

Second picture 3/4" drive stuff, 90 % Williams

Third picture some wrenches. Some like Rickster shows

Fourth picture, couple of S-52's, couple of S-51's, a B-51A, M-51 and the big guy is a H-50

I have one or two williams wrenches, but I have an entire 3/4" drive socket set with ratchet, slide bar and extention in the original case. I am missing one socket (1 5/8" I think) the ratchet is unique in that it only ratchets in one direction and the 3/4"drive square puches thru to ratchet the other way.
I am sorry I dont have any pics to show.
I see williams stuff fairly often at flee markets but the missing socket has eludded me. I have a non williams socket in the missing size so I dont look too hard.

I do enjoy using the set.

I think I paid $1 - $2 for all the wrenches. The ratchet was part of a big buy, but it wasn't more than $4. The best score of all was the tiny 4" Williams adjustable wrench at $0.50.

well I looked at my williams tools today, I have 2 open end wrenches. the 3/4"drive socket I need is a 1" size not a 1 5/8 as in my previous post.
also the socket set includes 2 extensions (6" & 12") and a universal joint as well. I wish it had a real braker bar as opposed to the T-bar, but like I said I enjoy using the set.
I will post a pic when I get a chance.

I have been collecting these for the last 2 years or so. I like them so much they have moved into my go to tools replacing what I can. Just got a S-52 Superratchet given to me by my uncle and can say it is easily the finest ratchet I have ever owned. Now the search is on for two of everything. I have two daughters and want a complete set of tools for each of them. I'll get pics and post soon.

williams stuff is top quality IMO but it doesn't get much respect in comparison to snap on. I don't dispute SO isn't better/nicer, it is, but IMO it isn't as superior as the used price difference between the two shows. I have a bunch of ~1970s 3/8 and 1/2 inch sized Williams sockets, ratchets, breaker bars, a few Superrenches, and also several adjustable wrenches. It's all high quality stuff. The ratchets, extensions, and wrenches do not have the shiny bling that SO does but they're definitely not poorly made

How does the new JH Williams stuff compare since being under the Snap-On umbrella? My dad had a huge collection of Williams when he started working out of college. I remember the day someone stole it from his work when I was in 2nd grade. I never seen my dad cry before, or since that day. I was thinking about picking up a couple of their compact case sets for him as a gift.

the new US made Williams sockets, ratches, extensions are beautiful; very high quality. I do not have any new Williams wrenches (yet- LOL) so I can't say on them but they look great in pics. There is also an entire imported line of Williams but I do not have any of that. Just beware when you buy that not all of it is US made- their website has a catalog which clearly states COO. For the boxed sets, the imported socket/ratchet sets are in the plastic cases and the US stuff is in metal boxes from what I've seen. If you want to buy some inch socket sets for your dad, let me know as I will probably sell some of my extra inch stuff soon- all from my dad.
