I know it's not a big number, but I've seen a few woodworkers on here. Just placed an order for a set of these.

I'm stupid excited about them as I've needed a good carcass saw and for some reason haven't purchased one. These are new, and the price is definitely right! Hope they live up to the high standards their dovetail saw is known for. Love these things!

I haven't seen those before, but they look nice (like most stuff from Lee Valley).

There's a retail store about 10km from me & I love to wander around and touch stuff!

Saw these as well. Might pull the trigger as I'm in need of some quality hand saws, but don't know if these will suit well as general purpose saws. Every time I go to Lee Valley's website, I end up wish a $500 wishlist (or more). Wouldn't be a problem if I actually had $500 to spend!

I'm eager to see what you think of them. What kind of work do you have planned to break them in with?

I really just needed a tenon saw, but these were too good of a deal to pass up. I'm currently toying with the idea of building a small woodworking bench, something about 5 feet long and about 12 inches wide with a leg vise on the end and an apron running down the front 18 inches or so. I'll eventually build a Roubo, but I'm rather fascinated with the apron-fronted nicholson design. I haven't yet located an appropriate slab for a Roubo-top, so I think i'm going to give a small one a shot. Even if I build a bigger bench later, I can still keep this one as it shouldn't weigh much more than about 100 lbs. Portability FTW! These saws will probably see some action before I build this, but it should be their first "real" project.
