I have a century 411 wrecker with the ramsey 8,000 lb. hydraulic winch. It is missing the hydraulic motor and I would like to replace with the proper one. My question is which char lynn model would be the correct one? I have the century part number, but plan on making this into a dual line wrecker and want both winches to run the same speed. The winch is a Ramsey 246. Any help is greatly appreciated.

well your first problem is that its a century (not a fan of them). second I would just call up Miller Industries (the ones that built the wrecker body) and ask them. and lastly as a note, generally on a twin line wrecker both winches turn opposite directions.

Well I tried that and they want to sell the replacement motor for $400. Thats why I am asking the Char lynn motor because they are a lot cheaper.
Thanks for your quick reply.
