Just wondering if anyone out there has ever bought from Coastal Tool Supply in Seattle WA.?
About March 28th this year I placed a order for $270. He said it would take 2-3 weeks and since I knew it was a special order I waited. About a month went by and I called them just to touch base on my order. I was told the factory was out and they didn't know when they would get any more. While I was on the phone, he called the factory and said possibly in the next 2 weeks so I said I would wait another 2 weeks. Fast forward to Memorial weekend Friday. By now I have not received my parts or my refund. I called again and was told I Cancelled my order April 11th. Eh! Wha! Now its already 2 months so I'm trying to control myself. Fast forward another 3 weeks, Today I woke up and decided to fire a vocal shot across his bow. I asked to speak to the bookkeeper and he would not let me. He said he would issue a credit immediately. Not having my card on file I gave it to him again, only to get home from work and finding another $270 against my card. Now they owe me $540.
Honest to God, I don't know how these people stay in business. Anyone out there having problems with them or is it just me?

a couple reviews on other sites shows both companies to do this often. I'd reverse the charges through your card, give the guy that took your card number a verbal lashing and contact their local police to see what else you can do about this. As often as this is happening it's too shady to be legal...

Had some trouble with them... in the end they made it right. Didn't take anywhere near the time you did to get it squared away!
Probably wouldn't buy from them again.

I've had good dealings....but that is just at that moment. All companies today can go to **** in a short time.

Same here, two sets of four arrived fairly quickly.

Also bought a few BOGO Gearwrench sets through the NTX website and it didn't go as smoothly. It took a month, but I eventually received them. After three weeks I sent an email asking if they were still back ordered and never got a response, but I did get an email two days later saying the sets had shipped.

Their website didn't say out of stock at the time I ordered, they sent an email a few days after I originally ordered. The wrenches were in good condition, so other than less than stellar communication and them charging my card weeks before shipping, it worked out to be a good deal price wise.

I probably wouldn't consider them in the future though.

AFAIK, they are a glorified "drop shipper" and stock very little of what they sell. I have read just enough complaints to not ever give them my business.
