I don't, never have.... but after buying a few new ones lately for my at home toolset, i read the directions and it says to grease them through the needle port in the hammer case every so often.... does anybody in the real world ever do this?

i filled it completely with red mystic synthetic grease maybe 3yrs ago. So much so that the anvil barely moved. I wasnt really sure how much i had pumped in. Anyways i just let it spin for maybe 5 mins until all the extra grease worked it ways out. I have taken it apart a few times since and everything is completely covered in a fine film. I am no longer a tech, but i use maybe once or twice a week since.

Awesome. Does it just work its way out the front around that front bearing around the anvil ? probably wouldnt hurt a thing would it to grease em regularly if the excess can find a way out.

Cool. Ok so I took the initiative after seeing your replies...

Now, in that picture, I understand where it needs to be greased through the needle port every 48 hours. Clear as mud, no problems with that. What kinda confuses me is that "number 9" the air tool oil that everybody says to squirt some oil in daily, it says to do it every 48 hours... Am I reading that right?

Looks like they use an inline oiler though

IIRC my 2135timax manual said every 8 hours for oil thru the handle

For the composite IR impacts you should use IR #115 if greasing through the fitting on the front impact housing. If you have the tool disassembled the IR #105 should be used by coating the anvil lugs wit 1-2 tablespoons.
