Looks like a belt driven grinder, IDK how much they go for but I wouldn't think much.

Old general tools were built in Canada at one point. No idea if they still are, but a lot of the older equipment still sells for a high dollar amount.

I've seen those for 5 to 50 bucks... 50 with a good motor. The one I have my dad gave me...his dad gave him ... Zero complaints... Other than a new motor every 25 yrs

Maybe it's different in other areas, but those belt driven grinder stands have minimal resale value at least around here. Way to much supply, minimal demand. Most of the value wil be in the motor, depending on what the motor is. (way too many of these were powered by old open frame washing machine motors.)

I've seen a half dozen for sale locally the past six months or so and picked one up myself. Most of them were in the neighborhood of $25 with a motor.

Well guys, I appreciate the info. The amount you guys are saying wouldn't be worth the effort I'd have into it. To bad.

It was listed on CL with a decent bench and what looked to be a wilton vise(possibly). About 100mi round trip.

Sometimes the great tool gods aren't shining bright enough.
