I guess I'm in the market for a pin style face spanner wrench to repair a live center for my lathe but don't know where to start as far as brands and sizes.

All I've seen so far are too large for what I need. The pin holes I'm working with are 1/8" and the spanners all have 3/16" pins. Does anybody have a recommendation for a decent one that isn't 50.00

I know I have a J.H Williams one around my shop but it has currently been misplaced and I know the pins are closer to 1/4"

If anybody has a brand or part number so I can keep an eye out for a used one would be greatly appreciated.

I usually sacrifice a pair of bent nose nose pliers for adjustable pin spanners, or fab up something out of flat stock. However, the only things I've needed them for are for bicycle bottom brackets (tight and rusty and not to be re-used) and camera lenses (delicate and generally not too tight)

The actual tools for bicycle bottom brackets might work for you. They're about $10 and are made in varying sizes.
