Anybody have any actual experience with Paramount combination wrenches? Paramount is sorta the house brand of MSC Industrial Supply. A buddy of mine wants to extend his Proto black oxide sets (inch and metric) up to probably 1 1/4" and 32mm. However, Proto in those sizes are a bit expensive for his budget. I've suggested Blackhawk but was curious if Paramount is any good. I get the occasional MSC coupons. Thoughts?

IMHO 1/2" and 9/16" combos are the SAE version of 10mm sockets. Maybe order one of those as a sample.

We use them at work and I use mine daily assembling fire truck water pumps... they are ok and stand up, some guys go thru them but I have not as I do not reef down on ratcheting wrenches, I just snug them and then use a normal wrench for final tighten... I havent broke any in a year.... I guess a decent enough set

We have Paramount 1/2 ratchets at work, they are OK for the single use that they are used for. I wouldn't buy one, the quality is meh if you had beer goggles on.
