Anybody wearing Redback boots??

Those slip on boots look goofy. I don't think I would be able to get used to not having laces. I like options, if I want my boot tighter I crank on the laces.

It took me abut a week to get used to not having laces.

Where did you get that info? Mine last just as long as they did before. My experience is that a loose fitting boot allows your feet to move too much & that's what wears holes in socks.

Best boots in the world. I got my first pair in 2003 from a Matco truck and now have owned 6 or 7 different pair. They are the most comfortable boot made. I will keep buying them

I picked up a pair of redbacks a few months ago and have already put them through hell. They are great boots and very slip resistant in a shop. There isnt enough arch and i think its caused my foot, knee, back aches on occasion. The inner sole is trashed so im replacing it with the redback brown insoles and im going to start switching my boots every day or every other day with my china made redwings. Not gonna lie, i like my china made redwings. Im going to a redwing store today to check out the US made stuff.

I've worn mine for 12 years.. the sole just blew out so need new ones. They are great boots.

CEBU, my absolute favorite boots, makes a pair that looks just like those. But no one carries that style locally, so I haven't tried them. I want them though!

Lackluster. the comparable item from Coastal boot company sold through snap on lasts longer for me and is like $100 cheaper. (Barman vs Lowdown)

And I know this a old *** thread I was just giving my 2 cents cause everyone always raved about redback and I bought some with disappointing results. And the insoles that come with them are the absolute most garbage things every, buy some other ones before even putting them on, Mac and Matco some of the drivers sell the leather ones from redback that should come with the boots for the money they want.

I have a redback scratchless belt though I wear everyday still. It's pretty nice.

I've worn Rossi boots for years. They fit and last better than Blundstones for me and they're still Australian-made. I give them a high recommendation.

Im actually shopping for some new boots. I'm a heavy diesel tech and im hell on boots. from grease oil mud chemicals dang near everything. I have a pair of doc martens and have loved them. just wish the sole didnt blow out. and wished they had marsupial protection as i always seem to get hit there vs the lump of steel on the end. I have been looking at the redback smelter boots. and really like them but unsure on how they will hold up and be comfortable cause i work 12-16 hrs a day.

Never dropped a koala on my foot myself, but I'd have guessed Australian boots would have been just the ticket for this kind of protection.

Been wearing redbacks exclusively for the past few years, they have yet to give me a reason to look elsewhere. But the way the price is creeping up, I must admit my eye is starting to wander.

I have worn them for 7 yrs, almost exclusively. I'm in my third pair, I usually wear new ones for awhile outside the shop, in my bouncing days I would have a dirty pair and clean pair till the dirty ones got retired. Working all day then working all night walking around a huge bar, these boots have stood the test of time. The preservative is great for them, have made the most recent pair stay very supple. The aftermarket insoles are the way to go.

Standard width is eee. My last pair were the blue toung slip ons with the composite toe. Didnt last quite as long (just over a year) but the way the fit and feel on my feet im not ready to change.

I just got my Easy Escapes, and damn are they comfortable! I bought a pair of these and a pair of Blundstone 510's to alternate through out the week. I just started as an Audi Tech, so im on my feet for about 9-10 hours. What I did was purchase these boots and try them on after work. My Feet where swollen and tired. The Easy Escapes from Redback Felt the BEST. My feet felt comfortable and relaxed. I ordered the the Redback Leather inner sole inserts and did the same 4 days later. I tried them on after a long shift, and wow could you feel a difference! I recommend the the Redback Easy Escapes. I hope they keep making them in Australia and not overseas like the Blundstone Boots. I will definitely buy another pair of these!

So where can you buy the Redback boots?
I live in a small town without much selection locally.
But I would like to find a dealer in Salt Lake City or nearby that I can try them on instead of ordering off ebay.
