I know its usually buy cheap, buy twice, but the spec of these seems to be spot on and in fairness, the usual mark up on tools is extortionate anyway.

US Pro Boxes. they certainly look ******** enough.

Any experience with them much appreciated.

They look exactly like the black "US General" boxes sold by Harbor Freight. Just like this except black and the drawer attachments on both sides. These boxes have been praised by many here and are the best you can get for the price.

sweet, well that box in the photo above works out about $1500 delivered

In fairness, if i do go for it, its gonna get piled into the garage and have benches built round it, so very unlikely to see a hard days work in its life.

May just have to go for one, we shall see what happens

not to hijack your thread, but i think its funny how some marketing fool/genius with no soul came up with the name U.S. Pro for an overseas tool line. i'd be interested to know where they are actually made and how the quality is? i can just see some brit getting a u.s. pro tool and when it turns out to be junk, they cuss us yanks :tantrum2:

it does look like a nice box with plenty of room.

His stuff has been on their for years, and as far as branding and names go, generally anything with US in it means to steer clear. I think you guys refer to it as dollar store ****.

I do think these boxes look to be fairly good, his feedback certainly appears to be good.

As I said, for the job it is going to do, ie hold tools in a neat and uniform fashion whilst being protected by surrounding benches, etc I cant see it being anything but reliable. Just threw this up here in the hope that others had seen the same stuff or experienced the same boxes despite of branding.

I would be removing any branding attached anyway, much cleaner looking would ****** stickers and badges

I could get that in red from my local HF for about $1050+tax with sale prices in effect now. I assume you are in Europe so perhaps its a decent deal for you on something like this.

Yeah, Northern Ireland

Paddy Tax takes effect when you want anything shipped here - despite being in the UK noone seems to include us in UK delivery which is a PITA.

that $1500 includes the tax @ 20% and delivery which is normally extortionate for anything over 30kg

I quite like the spec of the boxes too, and if you check the guys other auctions, there are some stainless ones too, which of course i like cos I am a magpie, but they just dont have enough drawers for my liking.

Yeah they do look like the HF boxes, he's probably why we have a hard time finding them in black. He buys them all and rebadges them.
