Anyone do a partial tile, partial paint floor?

I'm thinking that instead of trying to do my whole garage in a tile - like Racedeck for example, but do the main area that the cars are parked on and then everything around it use a concrete paint/sealer.

Anyone do that before?

Pretty sure a lip can be installed along the edge of Racedeck floating tile system. I thought they sold it.
