Take a look at this video. With proper technique, you can get it packed pretty densely.

Yes. Skill and Technique helps, a LOT, I don't doubt that. However they want to portray it studies have shown no matter the technique in a closed cavity you are not going to eleminate voids of pack the cavity to 3.5 lbs sqft.

Also another thing to dense packing is seeing what your doing through the mesh. You video they could to. But in your home you can't. You just guessing and even a piece of Romex will cause major voids.

Here is a nice visual slideshow.

Notice only one method gave consistant results in densities over 3.5. There are no obstructions in the cavities and they have a pro blower and are experienced installers.
