Asking if anyone else likes Channellock tools is like asking is anyone else likes ***, or cash!

Yeah, you got point there. I guess I didn't think of that when I titled the thread. I probably should have gone with something like, "Channellocks, *** and Cash - Show Us What You Have." That might have been interesting!!:lol_hitti. On second thought, maybe not....

Ah hah. So that was you huh. Im glad you didnt up bid either, because $40 total was my limit.

yeah, some things go for omg crazy.
gotta enter ebay, with a mind set limit of how much are you going to spend.
it's real easy for a selling price to get waaaaaaaaaaay out of hand during a bid.

btw, what does shipping from kanada to the US cost? are there duty fees or other taxes involved?

Last time I shipped from Canada was for Secret Santa. Prices **** (don't expect any of the flat rate stuff you have) and I declared the items with no additional charges at Customs - at least the recipient didn't tell me he had to pay anything.

My latest addition, found at an autoparts store in Montreal, via Kijiji. He had a nice selection but I was really only interested in the bent nose pliers (386). On the way home, I stopped and grabbed 2 dozen freshly made bagels on St-Viateur street, handed some spare change to a guy who needed it more than me and popped in for a haircut.

See, Channellocks brighten everyone's day!

Not to sound stupid, but outside of the novelty of the blue pouch and the fact that its NOS, is there any difference in the pliers?

I believe the older NOS stuff is better quality. I've got a few pieces that I have both NOS and new and the NOS is a little thicker in some cases and just overall seems better. The NOS stuff has Channellock, Made in USA and the part # engraved into the tool whereas the newer stuff is just stamped....See the picture below of a pair of #426. The bottom is the newer pair and the top is NOS pair...

Nice screwdriver Travis, but I'm even more impressed with the fact that somehow you got your wife involved in your collection! Nice going.

Travis,

You must be getting close to needing the blue Channellock bottom roller cabinet to store your growing collection. That top box you bought a while back has to be nearly full by now!

Added a 3610 and 911 to the herd.

I think you're going to like those 911s. I bought a pair a few years ago and they work great. Actually, that's the pair I bought when I started this thread.

So i have to ask: has no one else posted a set of the 910 CL vise grips except me?

So far, I think you may be the only one who has posted a picture of the #910. That could indicate some level of rarity. To be honest, since starting this thread, I've seen several Channellock tools I never knew existed, to include your #910 vise grips.
