Here they are. a1f39b6367b7c77f47dac8b35e780424.jpg

Also picked up these. We'll see how they compare to my more expensive Klein's.

I have the Kleins and the CL 909s . 5he cutter on the CL is better but the Klein is superior when it comes to the crimps. Especially the insulated section. Both are still great tools. Also if anyone wants Channellock tools with darker blue handles and usually 2-5 cheaper check out Eastwood tools. They just opened one near me but have a big online store. They had the CL 909 for 22 and next to it the Eastwood version for 18. They had several different CL models with the Eastwood name and dark blue handles

Pouch or not they're still pretty cool Jeff. What's the story behind the orange handles? Bell tools??

Hey Don,

That old #410 is a great tool. If you ever run across a badly damaged fastener with rounded over corners, and a socket or wrench won't turn it, break out your pair of 410 pliers. They'll get the job done. It's a good one.

And if it's an even larger fastener, or piece of pipe, you could reach for these. #414, 13.5" long, are the bigger version of the 410. Just got em today to match my old Champion DeArment #410s.

I've got a Champion DeArment #410 too. Did CDA make any other size(s)? I've been thinking about a 414 for a while, who knows, "Tis the Season" is coming up so maybe then.

And does anyone know how well the 307s work out? The near 90* upper jaw on the 410/etc helps with their grip so that less handle squeezing strength for grip is required, but it seems like the 307s are closer to regular slip-joints in handle-to-jaw geometry.

I've posted a picture of the bulk of my Channellocks a few pages back, but I picked these 426's up this weekend. First pair of Champion De Arment I've found, no big deal I know but I thought they were pretty cool

Hey Dave,

I have a pair of 410s that I've recently used a few times to remove rusted and/or badly damaged nuts on exhaust hanger bolts. For some reason, just in the last year or so, I've run across a few that were really buggered up. Thankfully those 410s were the answer every time. I might have to find a spot in my box for a pair of 414s.

I didn't have a choice. Recently, I had to purchase one tool from each of Channellock's product lineup. And you know what? I don't regret my purchasing decisions at all. I'm still keeping my Craftsman (Knipex) Cobra Pliers for Plumbing work, but for all other applications, Channellocks have become my go-to.

Does anyone have feedback for this particular model? Should I spend a few dollars more for the heavy duty 318? I think the E318 is for tighter spaces but the 318 alone is considered heavy duty.

When I ordered my adjustable wrench from my post yesterday I ordered two more to go with it to give away as gifts. One of the things I was disappointed in was the overall poor machining. The finish was rough and lines didn't look straight or even. Also a lot of slop in the jaw. I got to looking at the other two I ordered and one of them looked pretty much the same as the first but the 3rd looks quite a bit different. It didn't come across too well in the photos but the wrench on the right has a much more even finish and the edges are smoothed instead of flat. Also the face of the wrench is polished instead of flat and there is no slop in the jaw. Both packages say made in Spain. Not sure why they're so different.
