hiya JimI’m all for seeing more Channellocks.
Dang! That's a very well maintained set right there. I have a pair I picked up years ago. I don't use them much, but when I do, it's because nothing else is going to work!
The code blue are nice.
That ratchet with the blue and black comfort handle, is it comfy ?
Did Channellock ever make combo wrenches themselves, or were they always rebranded?
The wrenches with the recessed V beams having a raised panel in the middle are indeed Thorsen made. They were apparently knockoffs of a design introduced by Snap-on years earlier.idk. the set i have, are USA. however, i am not schooled enough in the 'who made which raised panel combo'
the catalogue, dated 8/83 i have, shows that set. thorsen?
and the catalog doesnt state which drivers are included. i received a 1/4x4 and a #2x4. i would guess the missing 3 were smaller.
and, the 6'' adjustable, doesnt resemble any of the adjustables i have (that's another thread)
No, I am sure someone just put two different grips on the pliers.
