Well in that case I’d say the quality is something special in and of itself, but yeah can’t say I use em enough to justify.Honestly, no; there's nothing special about them. They are 100% Knipex quality, beautiful and perfect, the grips are nicer than what I think anyone else offers; and if you were going to use them a lot, then go for it. If it's just something you might use once a year, like me, then HF would probably be fine. I didn't need the Knipex; there is no way that I will use them enough to justify the cost. And if I was rational I would've never purchased them. But with the price drops at that time, I could somehow justify it.![]()
also I notice the end nippers there, only other person I’ve seen that has that pair how do you like those? I found it useful that the blades jut off to the side so you can make cuts at different angles and they’re stupid overbuilt and tough, but the leverage/force seems to be a bit less than advertised with them being referred to as “bolt cutting” etc. and they seem exceptionally expensive even for knipex but I am glad to have a pair
