I'm looking for a KRL722 and one just came up in the classifieds but its in Minnesota and I'm in Canada. Anyone have any idea what that would cost?

Roland-5.0 Where abouts are you in Ontario? Nice Orange one for sale, may be a little older in Hamilton

I saw a quote to move a KRL was 200 dollars from Indy to Sarasota. The issue for us is crossing the border usually triggers extra costs.

I use Greyhound a lot here in Canada but unless something has changed recently... Greyhound won't ship large items from the US into Canada.

To do this sort of thing I use a shipping depot located on the US side of the border. I have everything shipped there. For a small fee they hold it for me until I drive down to get it.

Good Luck,
Gregger

I guess that's another good option. I could be at the border in Michigan in about 2.5 hours.

Amtrak ships large items. You just need to get it to one of their stations. I shipped an older Jeep hardtop this way. Cheapest and quickest from anyone else quoted. Loaded it on a pallet at the station, strapped it, and it was loaded up.

Or that bonehead that breaks everything. That dude doesn't give me confidence in uship.com. How can he be on there if everyone is soooo competent?

Where do you live and where is the box. If it's less than a day's drive, I'd just get a buddy, jump in the truck and make a weekend out of it.

I'm about to drive to Denver and back to pick up a couple sleds. 40 hours of driving in just under 3 days. . . 4 hour shifts, sleep when you can. It's not that bad if you are commited to a good deal. I've done it before if I think I can make a buck or save a couple. . .

I've shipped 2 for my brother, Used Abf once and roadway, strapped the box to a pallet, used lots of cardboard and shrink wrap, I think it was 300 bucks to get it from Chicago to the east coast.
