anyone ever notice how the snap on 11mm wrench is way thicker then the other sizes.

That wrench looks like its a different style that got mixed in, the box end isn't bent like the others.

OK looked like the box end, looks like I'll have to check mine tomorrow.

I just checked my Snap on Set OEXM and my 11MM is No where near that big.. I grabbed a 10,11 and 12 and as the size Increases, The Beam thickness does get bigger but my 11mm is Right between the 10mm and 12mm wrenches.

Same Series? Same Date code?

Yep same date same series bought them brand new in an unopened package

thats definitely odd...I just checked my soex, oex and 2 different ratcheting sets and all the 11 mm ones I have are proportionate to the 10 and 12 mm.

probably just an oddball one that slipped through.

I wonder if maybe a Williams blank got erroneously misplaced? I know they have a bit of a wider beam. Maybe some more pictures?

i wonder if they used to use a 7/16 th blank for the wrenches and thats why it is fatter; and slightly different

My home or work set isn't like that. I also have a set from 2002 unopened and it's not that way either. You got a factory mistake.

If they have a Blue-Point set than yes, but they would say Blue-Point.
