I saw a pair of tin snips at a local Restore yesterday. The picture is of the makers mark. I have looked around the internet to identify the maker, but seem to have struck out. Anybody familiar with this one?

Thanks.

Kirk

I have seen two other snips on Ebay with the same marking, so not thinking it is an owner, but who knows. Just figured I would ask you guys and maybe get lucky. The other handle markings are pretty benign.

Now you tell us! You said you'd "struck out." It's not a branding I'm familiar with, obviously, but maybe it would help if you posted more photos of your snips and maybe steal a photo or two of the other tools you've seen online.

I learned how to type the degree symbol, thanks to this thread. ° (Alt 0176)

I googled
blue bird bergman logo

Which led me to this for the logo above, but looking closer at the other forged in images, maybe it is yours.

I'm thinking they are Bergman O' Buffalo, just abbreviated, which does make some sense. I think I will go back tomorrow and buy the snips if they are still there. Kinda fun to have something different and a little mysterious. Thanks for the help. I'll post more pics after I get it home.
