I'm not a fan of them. I don't think they keep the tools as secure as you need during travel. They are mostly designed for electrical work. Pliers, screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches. Not that great for mechanics type tools. I'd rather have a few drawers shadowed with foam.

I have something very similar to that for my work toolbox. Works great for that, but it's mostly electrical tools as one of the other guys mentioned. Electrical screwdrivers, multimeter, various pliers/crimpers/cutters, gas soldering iron, small 1/4" socket set, lots of driver bits, etc.

Don't go away mad. If you are traveling those kind of cases work just fine. In aviation we had many cases like that from Rolls Royce with special tools. & they held up ok.

I used something similar for electronic tech work 30 years ago.

Now I use a Veto Pro Pac when I need to do industrial stuff on the go.

The Wera chisel drivers are absolutly awsome imo.

By layout, do you mean the content of all the tools that are inside it?

This is a little more updated picture of the case:

And under the lid it looks like this:

Here i store my sockets and ratchets in a Raaco box:

One thing is annoying with the bag however, that it would like to close.
So I'm thinking about installing hinges.
As one can see on the picture you posted.

You might want to check out the Pelican 0450 case. It was made for mobile mechanics in the US Army. Check ebay or Amazon.

That's awesome decaf! My junkyard tool bag weighs about 47-48lbs, no where near as organized as your setup! NICE!

This is quite possibly the best tool case load-out I have ever seen. Beautiful.

Decaf, why do you have 3 wera bits rachets? Does each have a bit for a specific purpose?

I don´t know actually...
I think they might have been reproduced themself in some sort of way...? :headscrat

No to be honest i think i got them in different bit/socketsets....
