Anyone got tips on vetting Amazon sellers?

This question applies to any product, but at the moment I want to buy Hubbell twist lock plugs and I’d like to order them ASAP, get it done tonight and have them delivered ASAP of course too. This always turns me to Amazon with whom I have a love hate relationship as do all of you I’m sure.
Here is an example of what I see that causes me to call into question the authenticity of the Hubbell L5-30 plug I’m looking at: Seller name “17 Flowers” as seen at bottom of pic.
Second pic shows what could be a more legit seller name of “Amplexpo”. Again, still a risk.
Is there any way to vet these sellers aside from the Amazon reviews themselves? I literally don’t trust any Amazon review. Never have.
Local garbage at HD and Lowes *****. I don’t want Leviton and it’s never in stock anyway.
Just wondering if anyone has found a way to verify who these sellers actually are?

Click on the name and you can see more info like how many sales and where they are to help you decide.

I tend to buy things that have free returns If possible. I get an email with a return label like that, and get credited back quickly if not satisfied with the product.

If Amazon ships it, they will send you whichever is most convenient for them. No guarantee that it was supplied by the seller you bought from or not. Don’t buy anything subject to counterfeiting, because you can’t control if you are getting the real thing or not. Spend your money with someone who cares about supply chain integrity.

Looks like they are ending the co-mingling stock practice.

I don't think I've ever "vetted" an amazon seller, I buy, if it doesn't meet my needs I return it (or just toss it up as a loss).

In my experience I look for fulfillment by Amazon.
even of it from a seller I seem to have better luck when Amazon has it on their shelf and I order it.
i get it faster and if I don’t like it then there is no delay for a return.
i have had several issues from Amazon sellers that ship out themselves including them “substituting “ an item with a different one as they were out of what i ordered

I bought a Hubbell end on Amazon, it was the real deal.
Go by price and reviews. If you're worried it's a fake go to lowes or wherever to compare it and send it back if it is.

Not sure if there's a known issue with fake Hubbell connectors, its not as common or expensive as knockoff tools or other things.
