Picked this up at a garage sale a couple years ago for $2. My black and decker drill fits in there perfectly. When I finally get my garage clean, I will mount it to one of my workbenches. Anyone else got something like this?

I got one of those.....except mines made by Black & Decker. I made a stand for mine....a piece of pipe welded to a flat plate on one end and a wheel on the other. I can just roll it around wherever I need it.

Dad had one and I believe it had a plastic gear that stripped after 20 years. I was given one for helping a friend with a garage sale. I really need to sell it. (picked up three regular drill presses when found bargains)

Ill pull the gear cover off tomorrow and check on it being plastic, thanks for the info. For now it works great though.

Do you put a craftsman drill in there? :lol_hitti I wish I had a welder and materials so I could do that. 1 for the grinder and 1 for the press. You would think that having taken a 1 year welding course in a technical high school program, I would have a welder.

My Dad has/had one. He used the drill for something else about 25 years ago and it killed the motor, had gone unused since.

I bought this new decades ago. I used it up until about 5 years ago when I bought a real drill press.

I used one of those to drill & tap my 8x57 mauser(take time to check your set up several times before proceeding to drill holes)I drilled & tapped it for a small nylon screw to take up& eliminate side to side play before hand.
