Anyone have a Generac XG series generator?

Looking at buying a portable generator for around the house. Looking at something in the 8K-10K wattage range.

One of the ones im looking at is a Generac XG8000E. I was just wondering if anyone has an XG series and how they liked it or disliked it?

I have one similar and it has been used to power the barn lights for the last two winters. It does its job without complaint. The one complaint that I have is that it does not have a battery charging system on the motor. It comes with a wall wart to charge the battery that is not a good solution for how I use the system. If you use it intermittently and can keep it plugged in when not in use then it should work fine for emergency backup.
