Anyone have a Girolift hoist?

I have a chance to buy a Girolift NT-10,000 2 post hoist for a good price.. (These hoists are made in Quebec Canada.)

Just wondering if anyone has one and how they like it, anything to look out for etc.

Never have heard of them. no experiance. quick web search seems like decent iron is ues with, decent weights of the lift for the listed ratings used in the lift. are you looking 1 or 2 post? Did you pick it up?

Like I said above it was a 2 post I was going to get it for a good price but I have a hunch I'd need to redo a portion the floor in my shop and also decided the extra space underneath would be handy if I store a car on my lift so a 4 post would be better for me.

Those swing arm restraints are interesting, I've not seen them done like that before.

Not saying this is the case, but lots of Made in >>> are made from parts made in China.
