Anyone have a model # for the VCT flooring?

I've been to Home depot and Lowe's, and they both seem to have a ton of vinyl tiles but not the plain black and white that I see people using on here. I may end up having to order it. Does anyone have a model # for the VCT flooring?

Also, does anyone remember what they paid per tile for the VCT?

Thanks! I got Armstrong sending me a couple 2"x2" samples of the black and white for free.

I used the black/white combo. I'm real happy with the overall effect, HOWEVER, the white
seems to need more attention than I had planned for. It seems to get dirty and/or turn
yellow very quickly. In retrospect I think that light gray may have been a wiser choice. My garage is 18X18 and it cost me $288, but I had a half a box of each left over.

The solid black and solid white are insanely priced compared to the type with the flecks of color in them... with flecks, the black tile is 70 cents per square... for solid black, which Armstrong themselves will tell you is not recommended for anything other than trim and accents.. is well over 3.00 per square. I wanted solid too, but changed my mind when i realized it would cost 1000s of dollars just for the tile to do my garage. I'm going with the flecked black and white.

I decided the same thing. The cost was much more for the plain black and white. I went to the Depot and I got the Armstrong black and white w/ flakes in it on sale at 30% off standard price. Great sale. I also opened up a Home Depot credit card and got another 10% off!!!!! That's 40% off!!!

I paid 513.00 (tax included) to do a detatched garage that is 30' wide by 50' long. That's 1500 total square feet. That comes to just .34 per tile (includes tax). Best part is I have 6 months same as cash to pay off the charge!

After it goes down, I will use a clear epoxy to seal the floor. Will help the clean up, and perhaps tile fading on the white colors?

Did the clear epoxy work like you hoped? I want to put something on the VCT like that so all I have to do is sweep and mop for maintenance.

Yeah, I noticed that HD has white, orange, grey, and that is about it.. in stock. You have to order the black. Strange. I went with grey and white myself, thanx to my wife's suggestion.

Judging by their site, the "excellon" tile is black and off white. The rest look too much like the stuff in high school. Anybody want to shed some light here?

Sweet. My current garage is a totally unfinished half-basement under the house. I'm planning on finishing it out, but with the understanding that one day we'll wind up converting the space into more living area and/or a playroom for the kids. That means that some of my choices of materials are compromised from the start, but I don't mind- when the conversion to living space takes place I'll be building a detached shop/garage.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for the link, I think I just made up my mind. That picture of the classroom did it.
