I need a workbench. I just moved to Germany for at least the next 4 years and don't have one. In the month I've had my house (rental of course) I've found myself needing one often. I had a full garage shop back home.
I've been looking at either 2 short cheapo benches with a length of countertop, build a "disposable" when I move bench, or actually buy something nice to send back when I'm done here.
I'm looking pretty hard at a setup from a German company called Küpper. They seem to be shop quality, different drawer and cabinet configurations, and I can buy them without the EU 19% tax listed on all the prices.
The picture is an example of what I'm looking at. It's a longshot, but anyone ever heard of them or used them before. Some of the locals say they are pretty stout. The picture would be about 630usd for me.
