Looking at their 2 post lifts. Installed price is very attractive, but if people have had bad experiences, that could be a killer.
Is the company reliable?
Was your installation well done?
Is the lift well-made?
yea those guys are in Northern VA. I called them about a lift before. They carry several different brands. I have done the tireless research on this before. At the end of the day, they are all made in china. What separates the cheapies from the more expensive ones is the lift capacity and the certifications. Some shops for insurance reasons, have to make sure all their lifts are "certified" or accidents arent covered.
But for home use, who really cares. I ended up going with a 10k lift from gregsmithequipment ... they have free or really cheap delivery and they are in deleware just over the line if you want to go there in person and pick up. They have certified and non-certified ones too. I got a non-certified 10k lift and it was called the 'wide body' or something. it was xwide and xtall and i liked that incase i had bigger trucks or whatever in the future. just felt good
but the site you're asking about is legit. i didnt like the guys attitude when i talked to him but they are a real business and they install tons of these lifts. their installed prices are pretty good and they know what they are doing.
car lifts are so freakin cheap compared to motorcycle lifts its not even funny. I have a top of the line K&L 655R motorcycle lift and it was like $3000 almost. WORTH EVERY PENNY ... but still. Compared to car lifts, its expensive. They just make TONS of the car lifts so they are cheaper. They are all gonna work fine, but just have some little features here and there that make them more expensive. I didnt think it was worth the money for the BENPAK or CHALLENGER or other top brands. I didnt care. And my car lift from greg smith is awesome. Works perfectly. But on the motorcycle side, the greg smith ones aren't good enough. I opted for the top of the line on that. so its personal preference
