Noble is the supplier of Lochinvar in Ontario. Noble is over the top expensive for parts. They usually have stock but you're going to pay dearly. If you're not going to be servicing yourself check some of the costs associated with flame sensors, exhaust blower and main circuit boards. I had a service call on a Knight by Lochinvar. Main board failure, trade cost was $1600. Combustion blower was also causing an occasional underspeed alarm. Blower trade cost was $2600 through Noble. The customer decided to replace the boilers with IBC. I haveninstalled very many IBC but have had zero issues with their equipment. Seem overall a better boiler, parts are easily available through many suppliers here. I avoid Noble at all costs now.

Yes in my opinion, there will be people chiming in who will tell us they have one for 20 years with no problems but that is very rare.

I have put only one of these in https://www.lochinvar.com/products/residential-boilers/noble-fire-tube-combi-boiler Installed in Oct. 2017 into an existing high temp baseboard system in an old house.Has worked flawlessly since.I normally install Viessmann Vitodens boilers (for low temp systems) but for this particular situation the "Noble" would be my first choice.Made to service easily and well supported by FW Webb

What the hell are you talking about...my cost this morning on the main board is $187.13 and the fan assembly is $130.40. In stock and available and both can be replaced in a single 1 hour service call."Noble" is the name of said boiler...not a company.

Noble is the distributor here in Canada. They charge whatever they want. The Lochinvar boilers are good but here you're tied to the parts suppliers to get wholesale prices on parts. Noble is screwing the contractors around here. It's not just boiler parts either. I needed a piece of 1-1/4" galv sch 40 pipe- 11' long. $340.

I'm in the market, too. They generally have a good reputation over at HeatingHelp. IBC, HTP, Viessman, ... lots of choices. Find the shop you plan to use and see what they offer. And don't let them oversize.

I think Dagny is back in cast iron world.
