I am considering purchasing a Seneville 12k mini split with their Arctic heat package. The plan is DIY. 450 sqft garage. Where I live it may occasionally see -25C for a couple of days but generally more in the -10C to -15C range in the winter with some +40C ish days in the summer. Garages is insulated with a standard construction grade overhead door with 2”styrofoam panels I installed. Anyone have thoughts or real experience with this brand? All comments welcome.

My co-worker installed a kit. Still needed a vacuum pump to purge the system before charging.

I have a Senville 18K Artic package in my 24x36, does great all seasons but the coldest here for last 3 years -7F, on coldest night it only held to 55. but 62 is where i keep it set. that it its lowest setting.

It performs exactly like a 18K Mr Cool I have in the house.

Good to hear. Odds are I won’t be out in the garage when it’s really cold anyway, and I do have a 7500w heater if Ineed it to help out.

I thought I would have mine installed by now but still working on getting electrical upgrade done so I have enough holes for breakers. They are made by midea, if I'm not mistaken, but reviews seem to be ok.

I have a 3 year old Senville 18K Sena which performs beautifully, exactly comparable;) to the Mr Cool 18K Hyper heat. Quiet, and held temps steady all way down to overnight trips to zero.
