Anyone have issues with shipping/tracking from Amazon Japan?

I placed my first successful order with Amazon Japan on July 10th.

I received an email on July 21 saying that my package/items will be "delivered today" and that it it out for delivery.

July 21 came and went and when I track the package all it says is that it is out for delivery and will be delivered today (it says this every day I check it).

However when you look at the tracking status it says it is out for delivery at LAX Airport.

There is also no way to contact the shipper ECMS Express.

Does anyone have any experience like this and can offer insight (such as "hold tight... it'll show up eventually")

Thank you. I don't have a USPS tracking number though. Only the one provided by ECMS Express.

Ironically I just received another email about 5 mins ago saying it will be delivered today and that it is out for delivery... yet still only showing LAX airport destination.

I'll keep my fingers crossed.

It will be delivered, do not worry. The Japanese carrier (ECMS) will likely hand off to USPS. That is what happened with my second to last shipment.
Last shipment from Japan was with DHL.

Amazon Japan is faster than getting stuff from the US for me. And the one time my package was opened for inspection and something was lost, they credited it right away.

I order something from Japan via Amazon, US. Very late. They could not track when it hit the states. It did show up, several weeks late.

There is your problem.... FedEx.....in my experience I'd rather have the poney express delivery anything

Everything I've ordered says delivered once it arrives at LAX. The order is typically delivered 2-3 days after that.

I try and do the expedited delivery as that seems to be a lot better and not that much more money… also seems more accurate.
