Anyone have recommendations for a sticker/decal machine?

Like the title says I would like to get a machine to make small clear vinyl type stickers for work I do. Anyone have any experience doing this? Any recommendations for a machine? I would anticipate only doing small low volume work on thin material, so I don't need or want a commercial type machine. Just looking for something affordable to get my toes wet. Thanks for any advice.:)

Dymo and Brother make affordable printers (label makers) that print on tape. Dymo has a cartridge that prints white text on clear. I have the Brother version and it works well.

It might not answer your direct question. But I do all the computer work (Photoshop) but farm out the actual printing. I use these guys and they do excellent work at very affordable prices and many different printing options like metallic stickers and printing white which are hard to do on common printers.

Roland Stika is a bit older, but supposed to be solid quality and you can find used examples for fairly cheap.

Silhouette seems to get decent reviews and US Cutter is another popular name.

I would definitely avoid Cricut though. They require an internet connection and have pulled shady stuff with charging a subscription for their proprietary (and sucky) software.

I have considered farming it out, but everything here where I live is a 45 minute drive one way. Another reason is that I will be rarely making 2 of any one decal.
