Anyone have one of new M12 Fuel Screwdrivers, the 2402? What are your impressions? How do they do for drilling jobs?

No, but I've been considering it since my wife wants a screw driver or a drill for light housework. She's not very strong, so the M12 might be too much for her. I'm either gonna get this thing or the brushed one or the Ryobi for 39 bucks.

Going to bump this.

Looking at buying one of these and was wondering what you guys think of them. I've seen a few posted from time to time and I'm considering adopting the M12 line of tools.

Probably won't do much drilling with it. Would mostly be used for assembly/disassembly of a wide range of equipment with smaller fasteners, and some light fastening applications where an impact would be excessive.

I've got it. It's a beast of power. It can drill if need be, and it's got great clutch settings.

What types of tasks do you usually use yours for? Durability? How about its bit holding ability? Had a chance to use a 1/4 socket adapter at all?

Thanks for your help!

Interested too. Even my single speed 2401 is very useful for basic household stuff, I wish it were the 2 speed? Fuel. I just keep a cheap set of Ryobi 1/4" hex shank drill bits with it for drilling into drywall/wood studs etc.

Holds the bit awesome. It's a one handed load/release which is very handy. Never used a 1/4 adaptor on it as i own the m12 fuel 1/4 square impact as well.

I fell in love with it when I had to install a ton of handles on my Vidmars.

I tightened one screw by hand, then up-ed the clutch until it hit that torque spot, and then went to town without worrying about stripping screws.

Since then I put electric motors back together with it, and then final torque with my Utica 5-30# screwdriver.

EDIT: mines not the FUEL, but IDK if that makes a difference for most screw driving applications. B/C any HD stuff I'd use the FUEL impact....YMMV
