There are a number of "big picture" garage books available right now. I have looked them all over at one time or another. Nice way to spend a rainy day at B&N or Books A Million. But none of them had what it takes to get me up off my billfold.

thanks! i guess, really, it's not going to offer, or even come close to what you get right here.....
There is another garage related book from that series that focuses on layout, storage storage projects and similar stuff. At first glance it looks really good, but once you get into it, there's not much to it. Got it as a gift and returned it. It's mostly pictures with captions saying "this is what this garage owner did..."
There are better books out there, offhand don't know any titles, but as stated, you find as good if not better info/suggestions/guidance here.

Stopped by the bookstore last night and saw the book in question. I briefly flipped through it. Mostly had pictures of tools you would use in your shop and a description of the tool and it's intended purpose. I can see it being helpful for someone who has absolutely no knowledge of tools but for the guys on this board, it'd be like a high schooler reading a "**** and Jane" book!
