How about MAC Tools ratchets in general? How do they compare? If you have a MAC ratchet, do you like it?

You can get the husky version from HD and youll have a much easier time if you need to warranty it. Both are made in taiwan.

I have the Stanley model, except for the polished body they are identical. I got mine for $20 from MSC about a little less than a year ago

Although i do prefer the all-metal handle, as opposed to the plastic handles you see on the husky ratchets

from what i have heard from people at my work is that mac tools ratchets dont last long even compared to a craftsman

Nice feal & fine teeth, just don't use it for any real TQ. my 3/8" was ready for a rebuild after 8Mo.
