Anyone have/use a Skewdriver? It's a ratcheting screwdriver with an offset head that can also be used with magnetic extensions as a standard screwdriver. Just wondered if it really works or is just a gimmick.

Here is a photo:

I had one for many years. Very handy when I was doing a lot of car stereo installs. Loved it. Unfortunately I broke it using it chucked in a drill. Found out it does have limits. I would say they make a nice addition to the tool box.

Yes, I've got one I purchased for the purpose of screwing my mailbox to the mounting arm. I didn't feel like messing with a stubby screw driver inside the box so I purchased this and it works like a charm! It's been 2 years, it sits in my tool box unused until the next darn kid with a baseball bats takes aim at my mailbox again!!

Been using one almost daily for about 10 years. I keep it chucked in my drill for under dash and tight quarters stuff. It's been a great tool, mine is a Mac, but they are sold under several banners.

Love mine. If you have a ratcheting hex driver that will come in handy to use with the mechanism.

I don't like the Skewdriver handle. It's light, hollow, and feels cheap.

When I use mine I usually have it chucked into a 12V DeWalt drill.

I've had a Milwaukee version for at least 20 years. I've only blown it apart once. They can handle high torque, but not high RPMs. They are awkward to use, but you use them when nothing else will work.

Had one 12 years ago, loved it, but broke it. No power tool used. Broke it by hand. And it was a Skewdriver brand. Just didn't feel like replacing it.
