Placed my first ever Tooltopia order July 28th. Card was charged but I haven't received any kind of shipping notice.

Sent email to the support address on the site yesterday. Got quick response that my question was sent to the shipping department for an answer. That was 1:00PM yesterday and I still haven't received a status.

I just want to know what's going on with my order.

I've never had any issues with any of my orders with Tooltopia. I have always received my order a few days after I placed my order and I rarely checked for a shipping notice.

I tried following the directions on their web site for getting support. Was too late to call or anything else by the time I got done with work today. I guess I'll give it a shot tomorrow and see if I have better luck but somehow I'm doubting it right now. They responded to my email yesterday but told me they had to wait for a response from their shipping department for my order status.

I checked my ticket status on their web site earlier, as they say to do, but nothing was updated there either.

I'm not mad at them right now but I'm becoming less and less likely to place a second order with them for anything. Surely this isn't normal when dealing with them. Right?

That is odd. I have placed 4 or 5 orders with them in the last few years. Never had an issue. Received my products a few days later.

I've ordered from them several times. Stuff usually shows up a few days later at the same time I get shipping notice. I'm sure your items will show up quick.

They've been upgrading their order tracking software on their website, which might also involve a tracking equipment upgrade in their warehouse. Hopefully they'll have everything squared away soon.

I've ordered from them a few times, and like most people here, got them a few days later. One time I ordered on a Thursday, the item came on Saturday, and received the shipping notice on Monday. I'm not even mad, that's amazing!

I guess I'm just unlucky. I called them this morning and ended up talking to the same person that responded to my email two days ago. Once again I was told she would get back to me when she gets an answer from their shipping department.

9 days since I placed my order and I still don't know where my stuff is.

Like the rest, I have ordered a couple of times and actually got extremely quick shipping and delivery sort of like ordering from Zoro. I may be because I am not that far from them but either way very happy.

I've ordered from them a few times without issue. It could be shipping from different warehouses. I recall they have multiple warehouses

It is now day 10 since I placed my order. It has been 3 days since the first time I was told they would get back to me with a status update on my order.

I've always had goodluck with them. Call and demand to speak with a supervisor on duty.

Call them. I'm in Canada and have received my orders from them quicker than what you're experiencing.

It's possible one or more of your items is not in stock and are waiting to complete the order.

Must be frustrating. Call again. If you get the same person, demand to speak to someone else, explaining that obviously she isn't capable of "getting an answer". I would stay on the phone until I either got a definitive answer or as long as it took to cancel the order.

A little trick. Make yourself a metal box about the size of a microwave and bolt it to a wall or slab. When you're expecting tools ask your delivery guy to put in the tool(s) and shut the lid. A locksmith can tell you what auto-locking latch thing to buy.I think there's a guy on here ?
Make it heavy. 3/16 or 1/4"plate with a welded piano hinge.
There are scumbags that follow the trucks around. If you have tools and hotrods or bikes these little gems know all about you.I only use USPS and my delivery guy is a buddy of 15 years. He has a key to my American puck superlock. My stuff aint gonna leave the porch. If it's big I specify pick-up.

Thanks for this thread. I hadn't ordered from them in a while. I was going to order some impact sets from Amazon and this thread made me check Tooltopia. Not dismissing your issue at all, but all sorts of things can happen with an order depending on stock status, payment method, shipping method, your location, etc... Were the items you ordered "in stock" at the time of purchase? Just ask because I ordered 2 impact sets and a set of extensions at 3:20pm on Monday. All three were in stock. I chose free shipping (order over $75). Received everything via FedEx before lunch today (Wed). Not too bad at all... I've only ordered from them a few times over the last several years, but each experience has been similar. It ***** that you had to sweat a little, but you ended up helping me out.

I've had only good experiences with Tooltopia so far as well, but i dont want all of these positives to detract from the validity of the original complaint here. Having to wait 10 days to figure out order status in spite of phone calls (which, by the time you get to the first phone call, already defeats the purpose of online ordering which is to not have to make a phone call) is not good customer service and if it had been me, i'd be mad too.

If you wanted to do something nice for Tooltopia, a better idea might have been to just let this thread fade away. That's what I was planning to do.

I understand that all kinds of things can happen with an order. The real problem here was the run around I got after contacting them for a simple status when I hadn't heard anything for 7 days even though my card had been charged.

But I have my stuff now and might give them a second chance sometime. Maybe.

I've purchased a few things from them, good service here.

However, I would be angry if I got the run around as you did.

I guess i don't think of schemes to defraud people. Broken people do broken things:(

I placed an order on July 30 last month and they never sent me tracking info either. I got an email saying they were working on something with the website or tracking system. I still got my stuff within a few days though. I plan to do another order tomorrow.

My point was that the only reason I ever ordered from them the first time was because of the reviews on this forum. I would have reacted to your situation in much the same way. Maybe I should have done as you suggested, but I was kind of surprised how quickly my stuff arrived. It wasn't intended as an endorsement of Tooltopia. No online retailer is perfect. I have sworn off Epstein's and no longer buy from there. Just wasn't happy with the way my last purchase went. Didn't dare come to this forum with the datails of that one. Too many fanboys of certain brands and certain stores. I would get crucified and mocked here. Glad you got your stuff...
