I'm interested in hearing from anyone who owns a Bend Pak P-6B.
I've considered four post, two post and mid-rise scissor lifts, but I really think that the P-6B is best suited for both my needs and my allotted space. While I'd love to be able to store an extra car on a four post, or get a car 40+ inches up with a mid-rise, I think that most of my lift time will be spent swapping tires, doing brake jobs, occasional exhaust work and even more occasional air cooled 911 engine drops. I can live with the 29" rise and working from a rolling work stool.
My primary concern with the P-6 revolves around lifting from the floor pan or the pinch welds along the rockers. Also, the lift's 53 inch lifting pad is perfect for 911s, but it may be less than ideal for some of the other vehicles around here (two Accord sedans, a Cayman and a Tacoma Double Cab).
Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.
