I have a jigsaw which has stopped working. 240v Elu ST152E TYPE3 (circa 1990s)
There's power at the switch ok but a smell of burnt electrics or a spent cap gun round, coming from this capacitor. I think it's a suppressor for the motor.
I reckon I could solder in a new one, but I don't understand how to read the spec on it, based on "how to read a film capacitor" guides I've looked at.
Guessing 22K could mean 22pF or nF uF or maybe none of those.
Any ideas? thanks
