Posted something earlier on building a structure...Anyone in Maine that's a contractor and willing to go to the Gray..Poland..Naples area and build a pole building garage construction/loft??

I have a friend in Casco that just put up a pole barn. He did some himself, and worked with a contractor. I can will reach out to him for the name of the contractor.

How big & what's your timetable? Obviously the ground is frozen hard now and I'd guess that you're thinking springtime?

I might be looking for a similar type of help in the Casco area. Does anyone know of contractors that are willing to work with the home owner (or allow the home owner to help) with the construction of a pole barn to help keep some of the costs down?

Not me anymore was 5mi outside of Portland for long, long time though and that's where the ice queen still lives.


I've moved to sunny warm southern Vermont now.

Spring comes much earlier here too!

Not sure of anyone around that area doing pole barns. There are alot of standard garage contractors around though...
