I'm new here and looking to build a 48 x 72 garage (18' walls) that looks like a barn to fit in with our neighbors and I don't want to build a metal building. I'm looking to build a post-frame building with Hardie board-n-batten siding. The problem is finding a builder in the Atlanta, GA. area, that knows how to do this. I have a design (see pics below) but I need to have it reviewed to size the posts, trusses, and "headers" in between the posts if needed to support a metal roof and metal interior ceiling so I'm looking for some engineering expertise for this as well.
Any recommendations?
Any one near Gwinnett that has built a post-frame shop?
