I was just given an Astroline 2 ton floor jack, model number AM200F. It's been spray bombed black and I used some acetone to reveal the sticker. It's fricken heavy and works great. Information online seems scarce. Can these be rebuilt? Anyone know anything about them?
I think the sticker says it's made in CA.

I inherited one of these recently from my Father-in-law. I believe he had he jack for at least 25 years. The color is exactly as Mastermind described above. The jack says "Made in Japan" and seems to be a decent quality jack compared to the cheapos being sold widely now.

I got one from my brother last month. He said it doesn't work. Well, yeah. It doesn't.
I took the ram apart and the urethane cup is broken.

Anyone know where to get a new one?

Thanks for the reply. I was able to find a repair kit, but, it was outrageously priced. I could buy a NEW jack for what they were charging. Not to mention that everything else in the jack is working properly.

I'll pm hiball to see if there is a alternate cup available.

Hi fellow members, would like to post about the astroline floor jacks. I purchased two of them in 1981 from a snapon tool dealer, they have been of excellent quality. I was in the auto repair business and have used them for many years. The one in the pic looks like mine, astroline 2 ton floor jack model number am200f made in Japan. Now, I need repair kits for both of them. Does anyone know where to purchase repair kits? They are of excellent quality and do not want to trash them.
Thanks, ddf221:rocker:

I PM'd hiball. I'm getting measurements at the moment so that he has more information.
Hope this helps.

Ok, I know this is a 10+ year old thread, but I inherited the AM200F from my father as well. And I think it just needs some new oil. any tips or videos on how to fill?

I've looked up videos on filling hydraulic jacks in general, but just wanted one for this model. I'm sure I can figure it out, just curious.
Thanks!

I too inherited the AM200F from my FIL. It’s a stout and heavy floor jack. There were no oil leaks and the ram was just slowly lowering under weight. So I just replaced the ram u-cup seal, size 22x40x12mm. I just removed the rubber plug on top of the cylinder and filled it to the top. I then cycled the jack up and down to bleed the cylinder and added fluid as needed.
