Say what you want,I have over 885 eBay feedbacks and would have 1500 + if people would take the time and leave feedbacks for me. I have only a handful of problems and every time I got my $$ back through PayPal. Look into the sellers background and if there are more than a couple of bad feedbacks, buyer beware... I received a bad feedback from a buyer, and I requested that eBay check it out as the buyer was outright lying, and they did and remove the bad feedback from my account. Just keep your emails as mkdive says, and good luck.

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm a little confused here. If you may get scammed from a seller when using Paypal, what is the alternative. If you send them a MO you are REALLY screwed if they decide not to ship it. What am I missing here?

Use postal MO, and mail them. I bought a timing light from a company, and sent them the money order. Their ebay guy was fired, and they hired someone else, and they said they never received it. I sent another and filled out the claim form with the post office. The postal inspectors contacted them with a canceled copy of the MO and it was quickly rectified.
Postal MO, shouldn't have been banned. It turns things into federal cases quickly.
