Stamped on an old cantilever toolbox I saw today. Definitely spanner shape with factory/forge and chimney, with what looks like water below. At least B.. M lettering.
Any ideas?

Assuming it's a product of your side of the pond, you might look into craftsman trademarks in the UK.

the tall chimney made me run a google search for "Birmingham Metal" but their current logo is much different.
