Anyone know this type of fitting

Does anyone know what this type of fitting is or is used for? I’ve got a local place that every once in a while does auctions of boxes filled with random tools and hardware goods. I received 5-6 of these fitting in the last box I purchased. At first I thought that it was an air fitting but it look to big. On the fitting the only things stamped on it is PPE 500 Series Made in USA. Doing a quick search I get hits for some flashlights and safety equipment.

As a guess its a pressure wash fitting but I doubt that common hose barb belongs in there.

looks to be low pressure based on wall thickness. commercial carpet steam cleaner ?

Yes, I was wondering about some kind of water, they really don't look heavy enough for pressure wash after I think about it.

If it says PPE, perhaps it's a fresh air supply fitting for a respirator? Definitely too thin/fragile for pressure washer duty.

Looks like a propane or NG fitting for outdoor grills, but looks can be deceiving.

We have a winner I work maintenance for a large plastic manufacturer and they are used for our tower and chiller water cooling lines to hook up our molds.
