I found this table in a YouTube video and all searches are coming up blank. It looks like a collapsible table base, but I can'f find reference to it anywhere.

Anyone know what this is?

I have the 4x8 version and I bought it from Lowe's back when it was known as just "Centipede". Anything you need to know about it?

It's actually pretty strong for what it is.

This is the Bora Centipede, collapsible work base.

Just ordered one myself (48"x48"), supports 3500lbs, folds up to <10x10x30", weighs <20lbs.

Can you give any feedback on usage? The videos are helpful, and the accessories look useful for sure.

How is it on uneven ground, ie construction site dirt?
Are the hinges and struts holding up ok?
What about the accessories, do they do the job or gimmicky?

Im planning on using mine for working out of my rental, expand, lay mdf on top, and go to work. Mostly track saw, layout, etc.... keep me off the floor.

But if I like it will be getting some for the company, job sites mostly.

I mainly only use when I need a temporary large work surface or when I need to cut down sheets of plywood/OSB. It's very nice being able to cut sheet goods without having to worry about supporting both sides of the cut. It's very solid when used as a work bench, zero worries about sag or weight.

I've only had it on hard surfaces so can't provide feedback about uneven ground.

I don't use it often enough to worry about the wear/tear- maybe one or two times a year. The infrequency is where it shines- easy to expand/collapse for storage and takes up very little space.

I don't have any of the accessories so I couldn't tell you about that.

One thing that is nice about it is that it doesn't need to be expanded to it's full footprint to be useful.

Thanks Dustball. Sounds like a good base, falls inline with how I see myself using it.

btw, the accessories allow to lock in 2x material for running supports, as well as clamps for holding down ply or other materials. You can see it on the product page, and can order separately.
