Anyone know what this piece is called?

I would like to buy more of these black pieces of metal for a project but I do not know what they are called or if it is even a standard electrical piece or if it's something solely made for the manufacture of these lights. If anyone has seen these at a store or knows what they are called please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Just thought I should add the back is open and as you can see you bolt it on with to small bolt at the top and bottom in the slits.

I am looking for the housing. Doesn't matter if it has any holes it or not.

Check a case hardware or speaker cabinet place - sellers of aluminum extrusions, handles, latches etc. for making custom cases - Flight Cases is one term, Also used for road cases for musical equipment, etc. Those stampings are made for mounting recessed audio connectors in speaker cabinets and other such stuff. Most that I've seen are shallower and wider - but I'm sure they're made in many sizes. I can't tell you were I've gotten mine - been years since I needed any, but the Web is your friend!
