Hey Guys,

I just moved into a house at the end of January and i'm getting around to doing some cleaning of the garage. There's some old junk the previous owner left behind and this thing is sitting in the corner. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

Yup, pulled the trigger too soon on that "conduit bender" answer. My excuse is I've got a conduit bender with the same rack and pinion gear setup and when I saw that, I didn't look further to see the v-notch for the angle iron. Half-right was all wrong in this case.

thnx, jack vines

that is an angle iron shear
did you want to sell it?

bob

Hey Bob,

I'm not planning on selling it yet now that I know what it is. I saw some angle iron shelving hanging from the garage ceiling, now i know how he cut those. :) I might keep it around to make some other things and get some more use out of my welder. If I change my mind, I'll let you know.
