I need to replace an E12 base where the middle pin was destroyed. I've removed the old socket from the LED housing. The base was destroyed due to bad design of the socket, not over current so no worries there. I wish I had not thrown out all of my old E12 candelabras as I could have cannibalized one of those. Yes I know E12 LEDS are dirt cheap but I want to repair this one as it fits my drill press perfectly and is very bright.
