Mike and the others, I banned him after a deal went south with another member.

The 100 post count rule was enacted to assist members from not getting scammed or screwed over. There are those that will post up just to get past that magic number, unfortunately, we as Mods can not catch them all. I know that I put in some time trying to help this site run proficently and I know the other Mods do the same.

Edit: I guess what I'm trying to convey is that no matter how much time we put in as Mods, there are still those that fly under the radar as we can't possibly see everything.


Marinepride had been banned atleast twice before becasue of his activities. If I posted his previous screen names, I'm sure most would recognize them.

Heres what I don't get. It is obviously mail fraud for those people who work out deals and don't come through after they receive payment. Since we have these folks addresses aren't they the least bit worried that someone would pursue things legally? I guess the fact that folks feel the cost of a attorney is more than getting some tools returned. But-since I am related to an attorney and the cost would be zero we may need to send a message to these folks by making someone an example.

Thoughts?

While nobody (mostly nobody) wants to see a fellow member get screwed over, I don't believe that Ryan will want GJ involved in the situation.

Can you share the other alias that marine pride used. Just curious. Sometimes random people send me PM's asking of I want to buy stuff. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. All my transactions have been fantastic...except from northcountry.

If they have been banned, they won't be able to PM you. I'm not going to mention any names, atleast not yet.

You guys are pretty damn smart here at GJ, you'll figure it out in short order.

He first told me that he shipped by UPS. Then that the Post office sent it back and he was resending it by UPS, Then he said he'd get me a tracking # after telling me he already had one and my asking for it 5 times. Last time he said he was sorry and that his older brother had died. Today I did receive a package but it didn't contain the tool set he was supposed to ship.
